On Saturday, September 20, Los Angeles Mission College hosted the 13th Annual San Fernando Valley Goes to College Fair in partnership with LAUSD Region North. The event brought high school and college students, their parents, and community members from across the San Fernando Valley to our Sylmar campus.

Attendees connected with representatives from UC, CSU, HBCUs, private universities, and the Los Angeles Community Colleges to explore academic programs, transfer pathways, and student support services. Workshops covered topics including college admissions, financial aid, and career readiness, helping students and their families prepare for the next step in their educational journey.

The fair was made possible through a partnership with LAUSD Region North, whose collaboration helped bring students and families to campus to engage with colleges and universities from across the Los Angeles County and beyond.
